The State of the Boat Market in 2012
While I was at the London Boat Show a few weeks ago I was surrounded by so much BS on the stand that I finally cracked and decided there and then to film this video.
The boat industry has totally changed. The way that boats are being sold has changed dramatically. But much of the industry is still trying to bury their heads in the sand and carry on like it’s 5 years ago, increasing prices and feeding pure fiction to their customers.
So I’ve made this video to tell you the reality of what’s going on in the boat sales market now and where I think it’s headed in the next 12 to 24 months.
Apologies for the sound quality in the second part of the video – turns out it wasn’t such a calm day after all. Next time I’ll have the good sense to stay inside!
What has your experience of the market been recently? Let me know – leave a comment below.

How refreshing to hear someone telling it how it should be and cutting through the B.S.
as you put it. You have the gift of the silver tounge Naill and the sencerity with which you deliver the message comes across loud and clear. Stick to your line and strongly held views and you will do well in the buisness. Best wishes for the future!
