I don’t want to alarm you, but I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. If you are looking to spend less than £10k on a sports boat then you are potentially playing with fire.
I know from bitter experience and endless tales of woe that it’s a risky business buying used sports boats in this particular area of the market. Just about anything can go wrong; from it breaking down on the water and leaving you stranded, to the thing sinking on it’s mooring!
Does this mean that you can’t find a decent sports boat for less than £10k?… Absolutely Not
It does however mean that you need to be extremely careful…
