This outstanding Galeon 390 Fly has to be the best available – it has only been in use since 2018; has only ever been used in fresh water and has only 290 hours on the engines!
It’s a fantastic family cruising boat, with a 3 cabin layout, super-high build quality (just take a look at the engine room video!), stylish design, a spacious flybridge, and excellent equipment list including – Twin Volvo D4-260′s, Diesel Heating, Gen-set, Teak Decks, Bow Thruster, Recent Canvas Covers, etc, etc,
This boat was built in 2008 and used for only 9.9hrs of engine time. It was then put into dry-storage and unused until we sold the boat (as new) to her current owner in 2018. The boat was then fully commissioned and launched onto the Fermanagh lakes where it can be viewed today. It has been regularly used since 2018 and has 290 hours of fresh water use on the engines. It still looks and feels like a nearly new boat.
The Galeon 390 Fly has a very sociable layout with a large saloon and a large galley-up arrangement on the main deck, and a huge flybridge that combines a wrap-around seating area with a wide sunpad aft. The large, covered, aft cockpit area further extends the living space and means that there is no shortage of options for comfortably entertaining guests on board. The sleeping accommodation is great for a family of 5 or more. With 5 permanent berths in 3 well appointed cabins and a spacious heads with a separate shower room, the live-aboard facilities are perfect for weekends on board or extended trips away.
The stylish look and feel of this boat however are only part of the story… With an extremely solid build and excellent attention to detail, the Galeon 390 Fly is a very practical cruising boat. She is RCD Category B rated for 10 guests, and has all the capability you’ll need from a safe coastal cruising boat, if that’s what you’re after… – a solid deep-v hull designed by Tony Castro, substantial mooring gear, safe access along the side decks, great visibility from the helm and very high quality engineering below decks.
The spec level on this boat also leaves very little to be desired. This example is fitted with a pair of 260HP Volvo Penta D4 Diesel Sterndrives, Sidepower Bow Thruster, an onboard Genset, teak decking throughout and Webasto Warm Air Heating.
All in all this boat is extremely well appointed, in genuinely immaculate condition, and well worth a look if you’re searching for a stylish modern family motor cruiser for weekends and holidays afloat (like the Sealine F380, Fairline 40, Jeanneau Leader 36, Prestige 390, Azimut 38, Galeon 360, Galeon 400, Princess 38, Cranchi 40, Rodman 38, etc, etc)
To find out more about this boat you should watch the full length 54 minute long video review. It goes into more detail than you can imagine, but it’s intended to give you almost as good a look at this boat as you’d have if you came to see it in person.
