A great starter boat….

This 2008 Mariah SX18 bowrider is a great starter boat package, complete with UK road trailer, spray hood cover, and the economical and reliable MerCruiser 3.0L 135HP motor.
 
The SX18’s high gunwales, solid build, and assured hull (with 18 degree transom deadrise) means that it handles choppy water really well and is reassuring for first time boaters.  
 
With its ‘in-gel’ red hull stripes and sporty lines, the Mariah SX18 really looks the part. The smart exterior is complimented by the colour coded interior and grey foam decking.  
 
This 2008 example has only 113 hours on the clock. It’s just been through our workshop for a major mechanical service. It’s running great and is being sold complete with our in-house 3 month mechanical warranty to start at the beginning of the 2025 season. …so you can buy with complete peace of mind.
 
Whether you’re looking for a starter watersports boat or a handy and reliable day cruiser, this Mariah SX18 is a great all-rounder and well worth considering.
 
At this price point there is unfortunately at lot of rubbish, unreliable, boats out there on the market… This on the other hand is a well sorted and little used boat that is easy to buy, easy to use and easy to maintain.
 
The hull is near perfect (and has never been antifouled), the engine and drive are fully serviced and in excellent condition, and all the onboard equipment and instruments are in perfect working order.  
 
With upgraded EVA foam flooring in the cockpit, bucket style helm and passenger seats, and a full width rear bench seat & sunpad, this boat has a nice high-end feel and plenty of space to relax in for a family of 5 or 6. It even boasts an extended Teak Swim Platform, installed July 2024!
 
It’s getting more and more difficult to find nice, reliable, entry level sportsboats in this sort of condition and at this price point.
