Typical boat buyers fall broadly into 2 main categories as I see it.
The first category is buyers who are fairly opportunistic. They have a budget and a general type of boat in mind, but they are very flexible in terms of the make and model that they want and they will jump at a good deal when they find it. And there is absolutely nothing wrong with that.
The second category tend to take a little more time to buy (in some cases they’ll wait years). They will research all their options, weigh up the pros and cons of the available makes and models and they will usually arrive at one or two specific boat models that they will consider. Then they will go to the market with that very short shortlist and they will buy the very best boat that they can find from their shortlist./p>
