The Cranchi family have been building boats on the shores of Lake Como, Italy since 1870. These generations of experience are evident in the style and build quality of this remarkable family sports cruiser.
The Cranchi Z35 is a beautiful 2 cabin family sportscruiser that’s as practical as it is stylish. It’s category B (offshore) rating for up to 12 guests demonstrates her superior build quality and assured ride on the water.
This boat has a huge swim platform (perfect for boarding and carrying a tender), which leads into a sociable cockpit with wet bar and convertible sun lounger. There’s an excellent foredeck sun lounger with drinks holders, external stereo speakers and a convenient walk-thru screen into the cockpit.
A complete canvas enclosure package integrates with the radar arch and can completely enclose the boat if the weather turns. But you get to enjoy the thrill of open top boating when the sun is shining!
At night, the whole boat can be illuminated with the standard side deck lighting, cockpit and underwater lights.

The interior accommodation of the Cranchi Z35 is beautifully appointed, feeling more like a modern luxury apartment than a boat! With large hull side windows and overhead roof lights, the whole area below decks is flooded in natural light. There’s a spacious galley on the starboard side of the saloon and a comfortable sofa (which converts to a berth) on the port side.
The forward master cabin has a spacious island double berth and generous storage. The full-beam aft cabin is also very spacious with twin or double berths, plus a vanity unit and acres of storage. The private cabins at either end of the boat and large bathroom make this a perfect cruising boat for a growing family or two couples.
Clever design means that there’s an abundance of storage throughout the interior, making the most of every square inch on board.
The mechanical installation on the Cranchi Z35 is every bit as good as the design and finish. Powered by a pair of proven Volvo Penta D4 270HP sterndrives, with Joystick control and bow thruster as standard, this boat has effortless and efficient performance, plus its a breeze to manoeuvre into your berth.
The hull design is tried and tested – a conventional deep-v hull, significant planning surfaces, and 7 tonne dry weight mean that this is a proper sea boat that will stand the test of time – it’s a very comfortable and assured boat on longer coastal passages and a cut above the majority of newer outboard powered light-weight sports cruisers.
The helm station with it’s modern dash, beautiful steering wheel and digital controls + joystick has the feel of a sporty cockpit. The ergonomics and visibility from the helm are excellent. This is a boat that is a lot of fun to pilot and makes you feel as special as the boat looks!
