The Cranchi M44 HT is a beautiful 2 cabin (6 berth), 2 bathroom, family sportscruiser that’s as practical as it is stylish.   The hard top, with fully retractable opening roof, transforms the boat from a true open top sports boat to a cozy all-weather cruiser at the push of a button.  The design is pure Italian elegance, and combined with a custom Cranchi painted finish, this boat looks simply stunning!

The Cranchi family have been building boats on the shores of Lake Como, Italy since 1870.  These generations of experience are evident in the style and build quality of this remarkable family sports cruiser.  

When the sun is shining and the roof open, the cockpit is flooded with sunlight and there’s plenty of sun lounging space both on the aft sunpad and the portside chaise-longue, opposite the helm.  The cockpit wetbar, with fridge and grill, is perfect for preparing al-fresco drinks and nibbles.

The Hi-Lo Hydraulic Swim Platform makes swimming from the boat and lounging at the water’s edge a pleasure.  The platform lowers under the water and can also be used for easily launching your tender or Jet-Ski.  The tender garage can stow a 2.5m tender, or all your water toys.

This boat has beautiful teak decking throughout and an excellent foredeck sun lounger with drinks holders, external audio speakers and a fold away sunshade.  At night, the whole boat can be illuminated with the standard side deck lighting and underwater lights.

In addition to the generous standard specification boat this boat is absolutely packed with options and upgrades including the fully painted hull and deck in Grigio Cosmo with Matt Black Hard Top, Multi-zone Air Con and Heating throughout the boat (Cabins & Cockpit), 8kW Generator, Hi-Lo Swim Platform, Raymarine GPS, Radar, Autopilot, VHF, Joystick Docking, Etc, Etc – This boat is an absolute Top Spec Example!

The interior accommodation of the Cranchi M44 is beautifully appointed, feeling more like a modern luxury apartment than a boat.  With large hull side windows and overhead roof lights, the whole area below decks is flooded in natural light.  There’s a spacious galley on the port side of the saloon and a comfortable sofa (which converts to a berth) on the starboard side. 

The forward master cabin has a spacious island double berth and a huge private en-suite bathroom.  The full-beam aft cabin is also very spacious with twin or double berths, plus a 3rd kids berth, and en-suite access to the day heads.  The private cabins at either end of the boat and 2 bathrooms make this a perfect cruising boat for a growing family or two couples.   Clever design means that there’s an abundance of storage throughout the interior, making the most of every square inch on board.

The mechanical installation on the Cranchi M44 HT is every bit as good as the design and finish.  Powered by a pair of Volvo Penta D6 400HP sterndrives, with Joystick control as standard, this boat has effortless performance and easy manoeuvrability around the dock.  The hull design is tried and tested – a conventional deep-v hull, significant planning surfaces, and 11 tonne dry weight mean that this is a proper sea boat that will stand the test of time – it’s a very comfortable and assured boat on longer coastal passages and a cut above the majority of newer outboard powered light-weight sports cruisers.

The helm station with it’s modern dash, matt black finish, high quality steering wheel and digital controls + joystick has the feel of a sporty cockpit.  The ergonomics and visibility from the helm are excellent.  This is a boat that is a lot of fun to pilot and makes you feel as special as the boat looks!

The M44 HT includes twin Volvo Penta D6-400 Sterndrives, Joystick Docking, Volvo Digital Display and Engine Controls, Full Set of Volvo Instruments, Speed & Depth Log, Anchor Windlass and Fusion Sound System.   This example also has a Raymarine Chartplotter & Sounder, Autopilot, Radar, VHF, etc.
