Glastron MX 185 with Mercruiser 4.3L - SOLD

On the way into the village of Creeslough in North West Donegal, there’s an uphill stretch of road.

On the left hand side there is a beautiful little fishing lake nestled down into the valley between two hills. The water on the lake is almost always like a mirror (or at least it is in my head). Beyond the lake, Muckish mountain towers in the distance, its distinctive outline reflected in the water below.

Around the next corner the whole view opens up into an expansive vista over the inner reaches of Sheephaven bay and some of the most pristine beaches you can imagine. The whole scene is picture perfect.

That’s the spot for me.

That’s the bit of the road, on route to our holiday place in Dunfanaghy, where my work brain switches off, the worries and stresses get left behind and it feels like I’ve escaped for the weekend…

It never fails.

Every time we head down that road, I get that wonderful feeling of getting away from it all. And more often than not there’s a boat like this Glastron MX185 hooked on behind the jeep.
